Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking an exceptional Medical Director of Outpatient Psychiatric Services to lead and expand our outpatient programs. This role combines clinical practice with administrative leadership, offering an opportunity to shape the future of psychiatric care for the state.
Details & Qualifications:
- Board-certified in psychiatry and eligible to obtain Maine licensure
- Proven leadership experience in an outpatient or academic setting
- Provide visionary leadership to outpatient psychiatric services, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care
- Oversee program development, clinical operations, and quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as a mentor and educator for residents in our training program, contributing to their professional growth
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, and administrators to meet the needs of our diverse patient population
- Maintain a partial clinical practice, delivering care to adults, adolescents, or children, based on your expertise
- Lead recruitment, retention, and professional development efforts for outpatient clinical staff
