Microdosing in Psychiatry

 Presenters

Dr. Marianne Bernadino entered the field of Psychiatry after practicing as a clinical social worker for many years in the areas of medical and adoption social work. She is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who focuses on treating Major Depressive Disorder and is Certified in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and administers Ketamine Therapy.  Dr. Bernadino received her Bachelors of Social Work in 1996 from Luther College, where she graduated Cum Laude. She then went on to earn her Masters degree in 1999 from the University of Minnesota. In 2008, Dr. Bernadino entered into the medical program at University of Minnesota Medical School, where she graduated in 2013, and completed her residency in Psychiatry in 2017.

Dr. Stephanie Nichols,  PharmD, MPH, BCPP, BCPS, FCCP is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy in the University of New England School of Pharmacy, Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Tufts University School of Medicine, Core Faculty in the MMC/VA Addiction Medicine Physician Fellowship Program, and an Instructor in the MMC Psychiatric Physician Residency Program. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in the woods with her partner and 3 pups: Eric, Sage, Basil, and Penny. She also enjoys yoga, reading nonfiction, gardening, watercolor painting, and lighthouses.

This program would not be possible without the generous support of Maine DHHS. This program is offered free-of-charge to primary care practices who participate in MAPP’s Consultation Project.
