Psychiatrist (Part Time): This is a 16 hour per week, outpatient-based faculty position that combines direct patient care with teaching responsibilities at Maine-Dartmouth Family Practice in Waterville, ME and the Family Medicine Institute in Augusta, ME. The faculty psychiatrist provides consultative and continuity care within a patient-centered medical home, sees patients in group visits as well as individually, and works closely with a faculty psychologist and primary care clinicians to diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Candidates must be board-certified in psychiatry. The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching residents, students and other health care team members and experience in providing patient-centered team-based care.
