OCFS Announces Anticipated Training Opportunity in Triple P – Positive Parenting Program

As part of its mission to ensure that Maine children are safe, stable, happy, and healthy, The Office of Child and Family Services seeks to increase the availability of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health treatment for children and families. OCFS is pleased to provide the opportunity for eligible behavioral health providers in Maine to receive training in Triple P Standard, Triple P Standard Teen and Triple P Pathways beginning April 26, 2021. This opportunity is available to licensed behavioral health clinicians practicing in Maine who provide treatment for youth (up to age 16) and families.  The training will be offered statewide with a focus on the first six (6) counties identified in the OCFS SAMHSA System of Care (SOC) grant: Aroostook, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Franklin, Oxford, and Androscoggin. OCFS will offer this training opportunity at no cost to participants.

Information regarding eligibility for the training and the application process is posted at the link below. Please note applications are due April 6, 2021 as training is scheduled to begin April 26, 2021. The training will be offered to a maximum of 80 clinicians.
