Strategies for Treating families and Children with Complex Needs
The Edmund N. Ervin Pediatric Center’s Child Development and Behavior Conference at Colby College is a program that brings a science and evidence based approach to understanding interventions that endeavor to improve the lives of children with complex needs. We have national speakers join with our regional and local experts and policy makers to bring science to service and policy.
We are very excited about our program this year as it promotes a positive approach to care delivery.
This year’s keynote speakers and presentations will be
Childhood Adversity: Can We Make a Difference? We Can!
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders: Screening, Diagnosis and How We Can Help
Developmental Applications of Mindfulness: Big Kids to Little Kids, We’re all Special
Strategy Central: Mindfulness Impacts on the Brain, Executive Functions, and Emotions. Science, Activities and Resources
