Dr. Dylan McKenney, MD, FAPA received the Leadership Award from the Maine Association of Psychiatric Physicians (MAPP) at its 13th Annual Spring meeting on April 18, 2019 in Freeport.
Dr. McKenney is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Associate Medical Director for Pediatric Behavioral Services at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. He received the award for his distinguished service and dedication as the immediate past president of MAPP serving as president from 2016-2018. Dr. McKenney remarked that he is very proud of his work with MAPP and all that the organization does for the promotion of the profession of psychiatry in Maine and advocacy for the mental health of our communities.
He received his Medical Degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington, VT; and completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Maine Medical Center, Portland, ME.
